Here’s a list of computer programs we use for various purposes. Costs can vary, but they are all FREE to try and a couple are completely FREE to use.

FileZilla If you have a website, or many websites, you need a FTP program to make file transfers easy. We’ve used many FTP programs over the years and this is our favorite. Very easy to use and automatically updated on a regular basis. FREE
Notepad++ We use this robust program for taking notes while surfing the web or while attending various webinars and phone conferences. It uses tabs like modern web browsers, so you can have multiple files open and move easily between them. FREE
GoodSync We use this program to back up our important files to an external hard drive and to synchronize files between computers. Very easy to use and customize. FREE to $29.95
RoboForm We use this program to keep track of all of the passwords for all of the websites we use. From Gmail to Facebook to Twitter to banking sites and everything else. Logging in with one click is very nice. FREE to $29.95
Skype We love Skype. Call quality is very good. Built in conference calling up to 20 people. Video conferencing. Built-in instant messaging. Free Skype-to-Skype calls to anyone in the world. Most smart phones now have a Skype app too. FREE to Varies
TweetAdder This program saves us so much time it’s not funny. 99% of our Twitter activities are completely automated thanks to this program.
